You have the best of intentions, right? You’ll read that book, you’ll take that class, you’ll teach yourself about LinkedIn/time management/how to get out of your comfort zone/or whatever is at the top of your list.

But what happens?

You’re so busy working IN your business that you don’t have hours and hours to work ON your business. Let me simplify this for you. The Learn part of each Learn. Connect. Support. meeting is designed to help you grow personally and professionally with topics that range from setting and achieving your goals to building better business relationships.

At each monthly meeting, I present a development topic (or invite a guest speaker to present on a topic) and then we engage with each other to learn more. For example, if the topic is time management, you may specifically ask how others block time for social media posts. By the end of the meeting, you’ve learned best practices and new ideas that you can apply to your own business right away.

Connect.

Knowing that you are not alone is a HUGE relief! When you attend Learn. Connect. Support. you discover that you’re not the only woman who struggles with self-doubt, work-life balance or a variety of other annoying issues.

You’ll realize that just as you have areas that need improvement, you also have areas that are strengths. When each woman brings her authentic self (strengths + weaknesses) to the table, the result is a powerful collaboration which generates new ideas and insights.

And by connecting in our non-competitive, supportive, learning environment, you build relationships with other women entrepreneurs and business professionals that go WAY beyond networking.

So is there networking at Learn. Connect. Support. meetings? Of course! You are networking all the time – PTO meetings, little league games, sometimes even in the checkout lane at the grocery store, and we network at Learn. Connect. Support. too. But this is not the kind of networking that makes you want to throw your business cards on the table and run for cover.

Learn. Connect. Support. fosters meaningful relationship building. The benefit of relationship building is not always getting a new client (although that happens too!) Sometimes what you really benefit from is support – referrals for printing needs, event space, or liking and sharing your event on social media. You also get the cheerleader kind of support you need from women who understand. One of the things I hear often from women who are “leveling up” is that it’s lonely. Your friends and family may not understand your goals and your drive to succeed, but you can find that support at Learn. Connect. Support. Where do Learn. Connect. Support. meetings take place? 

We meet at locations in and around Westerville, Ohio. Some meetings are held at public places and other times members and supporters of Learn. Connect. Support. request to be venue sponsors, which provides them with additional marketing and exposure.

Can I attend Learn. Connect. Support. meetings if I’m not a member?

Is Learn. Connect. Support. introvert friendly?

Yes! You would be surprised how many women entrepreneurs and business professionals tell me they are introverts! This group and these meetings are designed to be nurturing, supportive, and non-competitive for all women. Our typical meeting size ranges from 8-16 women and there is always topic discussion time. In other words, there is structure so you always have something to talk about and you will naturally make at least 1 new connection by the time you leave.
